Influence of Additive Nd2O3 on Dielectric Constants for Ternary Na2B4O7 -SiO2 -Ge2O3 System

he dielectric constant and the power factor can be varied by changes in the glass composition. The present work aims to understand the effect of Nd2 O3 on dielectric properties of Na2 B4 O7 -SiO2 -Ge2 O3 system. The results show that, ln σ, exponent factor S, εʹ and εʹʹ values of Na2 B4 O7 -SiO2 -Ge2 O3 increased with increasing Nd2 O3 content. εʹand εʹʹ values of Na2 B4 O7 -SiO2 -Ge2 O3 increased with increasing temperature. Activation energy, the exponent factor S and Mʹ values of Na2 B4 O7 -SiO2 -Ge2 O3 deceased with increasing Nd2 O3 content. The exponent factor S for Na2 B4 O7 -SiO2 -(Ge2 O3 )2.5-x-(Nd2 O3 )x decreased with increasing temperature. Mʹ value decreased with increasing temperature, but it increased with increasing frequency
